Ingredients
1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-size chunks
2 tablespoons sriracha
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon rice vinegar (or lemon juice)
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt and black pepper to taste
Optional: sesame seeds and green onion for garnish
Instructions
Step 1 – Marinate the Chicken: In a bowl, mix sriracha, honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic powder, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Add chicken and toss to coat. Marinate for at least 15 minutes (up to 1 hour for deeper flavor).
Step 2 – Preheat the Air Fryer: Set your air fryer to 380°F and preheat for 3–5 minutes.
Step 3 – Air Fry the Chicken: Place chicken bites in a single layer on parchment (perforated if possible). Air fry for 10–12 minutes, shaking halfway through.
Step 4 – Serve and Garnish: Let rest for 2 minutes. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and sliced green onion. Serve with jasmine rice, in wraps, or with a dipping sauce.
Notes
Morgan’s Tip: For the cleanest results with sticky glazes, always use parchment paper. It prevents the honey from burning and saves scrubbing your air fryer basket.
